Eligibility for VAT Relief

Having had two repairs each for prolapsed bladder and bowel, the last two just over a year ago, I was devastated to find I had another small bladder prolapse. Surgeon has suggested further surgery. I was nervous about two things: spending a lot of money on something I'd only seen on the internet, not heard of from a 'real' person - and also nervous about using something internally as I freak out during smear tests as they are so painful - I get vaginismus (also during sexual intercourse). I wonder why I took so long for me to do something about the problem I had with leaking. It had got to the stage that even going downstairs I would leak and when the lift at work broke I was goind down 3 flights of stairs and I could feel the leaks onvirtually every one. I knew I needed something to tighten me up, but I hadn't realised that there was something like this available!     Have now been using Kegel8 for about 15-16 weeks, surgery 20 years ago for stress incontinence and prolapse 4-5 years ago, Dr suggested ring pessary but not keen to go down that route. Read about Kegel8 and decided to invest. Even after a few short weeks started to notice improvements in bladder control and amount of leakage. After 15-16 weeks really feeling a difference with my prolapse , I have lost the dragging sensation and just feel so much better with bladder and bowel control- I wish I had used this years ago!

    The kagal8 ultra has changed my life...
    took a little getting used to but ive recently been checked by my doctor who has told me my prolapse is gone! I not only feel better in my pelvic area.. this has also done wonders for my libido. It has somehow also given me a boost in energy (not r this part is in my head) but I def feel better! thank you kegal8 ultra .. I was set to have a hysterectomy and now im not going to have a huge operation. best money ive ever spend on my health.

    Mine arrived 1 weeks ago, after me reading reviews, doing research. I have a stage 2/3 double prolapse, caused by years of straining with chronic constipation and my crohns disease. They can't operate due to my crohns, I tried the ring and it was horrendous and I couldn't cope with it. Began my program 7 days ago and I have to be honest, I noticed a lifted after the first use, that fullness feeling, gone! Bulge (rectocele, also caused my foceps delivery 30 years ago!) at the opening of my virgina, gone back inside. I have noticed I'm emptying my bowels with less straining, maybe I'm using my muscles better and the correct ones? I'm not leaking either end and although I'm still using pads, they're clean, nothing and my bowel movements are more formed, im passing a better.flow of urine and a full empty. I almost feel like my posture has improved too, im holding myself better (i have spinal fractures too). I'm hoping my quality of life keeps improving and I will write an update review around week 10. I will happily continue use after the initial 12 weeks to sustain improvement and keep my pelvic floor strong. I think every female should try this and continue to use it, would absolutely recommend it to all women lol!! Our pelvic floor is so important and especially as we mature. I wished I'd bought one years ago, I wished my physio have recommended it to me

    I am new to this product and therefore cannot comment on the long term results. I had recently started to suffer with age related and stress incontinence. The Kegel8 Ultra 20 is very easy to use and I have very quickly got into the habit of using it every day. I found it easy to set up and the instruction manual comprehensive. I would recommend the product to anyone suffering with incontinence.

    Just to say 3 months ago I had a pessary taken out for a rest. After a year. I was shocked how I had to daah to the toilet. I was depressed. Now using kegel8 once a day and doing kegel exercises my toilet urgency is so much better. My pelvic floor is stronger. I had a minor cystocele bladder prolapse and will not at the moment have another pessary inserted.

    I was very hesitant in the first days, and I think probably quite dim. (Eg spent some time thinking if P stands for Programme, what does PO stand for? Finally realised it's not PO 1 etc but P zero1 etc. Doh!) Still do find it odd the way the significant half the screen greys out after a few minutes, leaving unnecessary info highlighted and the critical bit less visible.

    Like many others I found the booklet baffling (really do think it needs a wholesale review/update, and something like a flow chart to cut down on duplication) - and without the on-line video would have struggled even to get started. So my number one recommendation would be - Check Out The Video!

    Reviews helped too, hence my own here. Now well into Month 2 and seeing improvement, and wishing I'd done this years ago. No very major gynae issues, just the usual ones related to childbirth and age. Confidence now building and even at this stage I'm sure it has been an enormous help.

    (As well as a bit dim, I was also very tentative in the first days about the level to set - am becoming more confident as time goes on. In first weeks had a holiday and then house guests, both of which made establishing a routine difficult, but though probably more slowly than average, do feel I'm beginning to get there. Would have welcomed clarity about whether higher setting = better outcome faster - think I probably might have raised levels sooner - and still can't imagine getting up to anything like 40. I think the guidance is possibly hand-tied by the need to ensure no harm, and the way individuals obviously vary enormously. Looks like slowly & carefully still gets you there, possibly just takes a bit longer.
