Having had two repairs each for prolapsed bladder and bowel, the last two just over a year ago, I was devastated to find I had another small bladder prolapse. Surgeon has suggested further surgery. I was nervous about two things: spending a lot of money on something I'd only seen on the internet, not heard of from a 'real' person - and also nervous about using something internally as I freak out during smear tests as they are so painful - I get vaginismus (also during sexual intercourse). Nevertheless I went ahead because I saw my middle age incontinence just getting worse and worse. I get to my front door, get the key in the door and can just about hold it in now without leaking only after two weeks of use at 30 to 40 MA. I wonder why I took so long for me to do something about the problem I had with leaking. It had got to the stage that even going downstairs I would leak and when the lift at work broke I was goind down 3 flights of stairs and I could feel the leaks onvirtually every one. My sex life was non existant - we'll the occasional fumble, but I hadnt had an orgasm through sex for ages. I did some background research and my sister in law sore by her kegel8 so much so that I decided to try it. I havent got a prolapse like she has thankfully, but I know that something was not right. It is early days but I am extremely positive that I will continue to see results as I feel a slight improvement already. I am 64, I don't suffer from a weak bladder, I have not been to the doctor but I do feel a bulge and can only think this would get worse as time goes on. I knew I needed something to tighten me up, but I hadn't realised that there was something like this available! Quite honestly it is amazing, Hubby thinks it is wonderful and when I had a 2 week break recently he noticed straight away, it is that effective! Yes you do have to use it regularly, but for someone like me who goes to the gym, walks the dog, it just becomes part of my routine. I now use it 2/3 times a week. I don't have any leaks or mishaps, and my love-life is better than it has been for a decade. I tell all my friends, some have bought, some are embarrassed that I am talking so candidly about my problem/solution. These should be available on the NHS, simple as that! My sister bought one, she has a prolapse and is facing surgery, but she hopes with regular use she can stop it getting worse and hopefully avoid the knife! Adapting Kegel8 to work for me

I suffered a Grade 2 cystocele and rectocele during my 4th pregnancy. I started seeing a physiotherapist and also using the Kegel8. I used it every day for 12 weeks on the prolapse setting. Unfortunately I saw no improvement in my condition during that time. At the suggestion of my physiotherapist, I created a new program for myself, which used the prolapse settings, but instead of holding and releasing for 5 seconds, I set the program to hold for 10 seconds and release for 10 seconds. At that point I started contracting the muscle myself, along with the contraction produced by the device. Only at that point I started seeing an improvement. My prolapse has improved and is now Grade 1 and I no longer have discomfort from it. I have no intentions of stopping to use the Kegel8 since I plan to have another baby. The best thing about the Kegel 8 is that it forces me to stop for 20 minutes every day and devote that time to caring for my pelvic floor. I do not have the motivation to do that without the Kegel 8.

I have been using this for 3 weeks and although early days I am definitely feeling improvement form my Rectocele grade 2 prolapse, I want to avoid surgery as long as possible.
I have had 2 babies and a hysterectomy, I only wish I had heard of this 10 years ago as I might not have developed the prolaspe as I was given a sheet of kegel exercises to do post op and told to do them until I felt better never advised to do them for life.
I was experiencing all the problems that go with a rectocele and touch wood these have gone, no longer wear panty liners either.
So I would urge anyone undecided about this to give it a try,

why did i not get one before now.

Had my kegal 8 ultra now for 8 weeks looked at them before but price put me off even though I did leak when I sneezed and coughed.
Tryed unsuccessful to do kegal exercises on my own for several months with no improvement.
Roll on 8 weeks ago I got a really bad cough and had a coughing fit in the car which resulted in me wetting really bad, so bad that I had to turn round and drive home and you can imagine how I felt.
So placed a order for the machine after reading the reviews again on next day delivery.
Customer service staff were very helpful but not at all pushy had lots of information and advice on products and advice on how to use machine. so order completed just sit back and wait.
Order arrived on time in descret packaging complete with battery and institutions.
Couldn't wait to try so following instructions started with the sensitivity program as instructed. Must admit it did feel very unusual didn't hurt just funny. Have no been using most days twice a day for stress incontinence and can see results have not had any accidents big or small. Can even sneeze with out incident and even announce this to a friend who uses pads who has now got one as well.
Husband has noticed a difference as well so now going to move on to the different programs. Did notice a good side effect in that even though I don't use pain relief program at all my last period (not regular) took me by surprise as I had no cramps or pains after suffering for years from them. Don't know if it's a one off or not.

My wife is 28 Age, quite slim, fit and in the shape but unfortunately had weaken pelvic floor in the 6th month of pregnancy with our second child
Doctors was not able to diagnostic why she feels so heavy and barely can walk, this is till the delivery day, when a nurse notice something coming out. Doctor said this is cervical prolapse of 3rd degree and did her Caesarean
After delivery, doctor advice her to do pelvic exercise as treatment, but we are in Middle East and specialists are not so good to know such things, else saying that you will continue to have this till you need a surgery after 10 - 15 years or if you got pregnant again
Now and after one and half month of use, muscles are tighter, she truly feels the difference and much comfortable
I definitely recommend this product, not only for medical purpose but as fix after having a baby.

I have only had the machine for under two weeks so can't give an accurate review in such a short time. I have been using it as directed twice a day for grade 2-3 prolapse. I bought it as I have had two PFR ops and I feel that I don't want another as I can't live my life asking others to lift and lay for me. Although I don't have stress incontinence, I do need to find a toilet quickly as my bladder is also weak, so I'm hoping to improve that situation also. The machine is discreet, user friendly and I found the instruction manual easy to understand. I can certainly feel the pelvic floor muscles contracting on the programmes. This has taught me how to locate and use these muscles throughout the day as previously, I didn't know if I was doing the exercises correctly. I use it morning and evening in my bed (it takes between 20 and 35 minutes depending on which programme I am using) as I find this more comfortable. I will continue to use it for the recommended 12 weeks and get back to review it again. So far, I am finding it a great help and I would definitely recommend it. I am 67 years young.

I went to the Dr's thinking I had a prolapse. .. However she told me I hadn't and everything was still attached. I must have caught it just in time! I have been using the Kegel 8 20 since I got it in Feb. So glad I did, there's definitely a big improvement in my pelvic floor. I would have to say to anyone thinking about buying one, it's definitely worth it, so don't delay.

Surprised by size of control set

I purchased the Kegrel 8 for bladder incontinence when running etc. I thought the control set would be a lot smaller and I would be able to tuck it in my pocket and get on with life while exercising. Unfortunately it's quite large and would require me being stationary while exercising or holding it. My life is mega busy and I can not give the time to using this machine as it would be difficult to do much else at the same time. Hoping with time the design if the handset will improve. Didn't use it do can't comment on performance. I returned the Kegrel 8 and received a refund with no issues

Desperate for improvement!

Having had an abnormal smear result and as a result of having had treatment it was brought to my attention that I had a grade 1 uterine prolapse, grade 2 cystocele and rectocele as well as a lapse perineum. I knew I was rather gaping down below but being told about this really stressed me out. My sex life has died as a consequence as I do not feel normal.
The most troublesome issue is the rectocele, as I feel this is worsening and I always feel swollen and bulgy prior to and even after having a bowl movement, as it feels as though stool is getting trapped. I often need to push the bulge back into my vagina to help me feel empty and have even used a douch as I hate to feel so uncomfortable.
I have looked at the Kegal products loads of times but being a bit of a sceptic I was unsure as to take the plunge as I am an impatient person and want to see results immediately.....Which I know doesn't happen. Anyway given that for about the last month or so, the bulging has become more frequent I decided I have nothing to lose by trying it. I have already got a TVT sling insitu as I suffered from really bad from stress incontinence so I want to avoid further surgery if possible.
I received my Kegal Ultra 20 26/03/14 and have used it twice a day on programmes p15 and p3. I can certainly feel my pelvic floor contracting when in use. I am unable to hold the probe in place unless I lie down as it slips out. I did contact customer services who recommended a pelviline probe as this is shaped differently and would probably stay in place better. Overall I do feel it is working and think the rectocele looks a bit less protruding so I will continue and hope for the best.
Only problem I am having is that I seem to have got thrush or possibly being irritated by using the probe? I do have a nickle allergy but the probe is gold plated so unless I am hyper sensitive to nickle? I assume it is thrush. I have not used the lubricant as that seems to make me itch too.
I am glad I purchase the Kegal 8 Ultra 20 and if it does what it says it will do? I will consider it money well spent.

After having my son in 2007 I noticed that I wasn't getting much from intercourse. I basically felt like I had lost sensitivity in my vagina. I mentioned it to several doctors who kept telling me to continue pelvic floor excercises that weren't helping. Then 2 years ago, at age 29, I was diagnosed with prolapse and i was devestated. Still I was being told to continue pelvic floor excercises and I just became more and more depressed as symptoms got worse. I spent day after day crying and my love life has become non existent. I'd heard of kegel8 and read through the reviews and, after a lot of thinking I finally ordered it. After using it for the first time I already feel an improvement.
